I have some spares for sale that I bought, but never fitted to my Mini before it was sold. Just having a clear out. Here is a complete set of wheel bearings. They are brand new from Mini Sport. They are suitable for cars with front disc brakes.

 

2x Front wheel bearing kit suitable for all mini's with disc brakes. Each box contains 2x taper roller bearings, inner and outer swivel hub seals, split pin and a sachet of grease. Part number GHK1140

2x Rear wheel bearing kit for all rear drums 1959-2001 Each box contains 2x taper roller bearings, outer hub seal, split pin sachet of grease. part number GHK1548

 

Retail price from Mini Sport £45.72

 

I am looking for £30 for the set of 4. 

 

I am in Nottingham. I am happy for you to collect, or I can post at cost to buyer.

Are they TIMKEN bearings inside ?

No they are not TIMKEN. They are the standard wheel bearings.

OK, I've already tried a few different bearing brands, and they are all pants. I'll only ever use TIMKEN now.

Let us know how you get on with them. Would be good to find different brands of bearings that actually fit and don't lock up when you tighten the hub but.

ive never used timken unless one of my customer cars have given me them to fit, ive never had any real issues with the cheaper ones. Keep them paired correctly, feed the grease through the bearing so its packed properly.

Which ones do you use ? 

 

I got some from SOMERFORD for the front that lock up when tightened

And a rear one from a shop here in France that does the same.
