Bought this a few weeks ago for £150. Quite a good shell with very little welding needed.

Wings are dented so new wings and a panels fitted so far.

My mate has borrowed my spit so risky work 

No over sills either and all the floor looks good after a wire brush

 

Plan is MK1 styling rear lights bonnet boot dash no arches etc

Im not going to use fake hinges im just sticking with the MK3 door.

 

Update bonnet, i removed the centre lip and now all ready for stop stopper

also welded up the extra wiper blanks, wing Ariel and side repeaters

Made a dimple swage tool, a little big for the bonnet so tried it on the apanel

Yeah wasnt too bad the panel wasnt the best but i made it fit easy enough

bonnet was easy enough but i removed the bracing so its not really ridged anymore!

 

Been to castle combe today and got some more inspiration for some bits to do

Cheers trying to do some things a little different.
No updates really this weekend due to attended shows.

Bought a full wiring loom for £10
Bought a set of drop s/c gears

Should be ready from primer soon but might start building the subframes 1st

few hours tonight preping the interior.

Hard work removing the insulation off the floor

its getting there i put a very light thinned out coat of stone chip just to see imperfections to rectify

 

still got to remove the sheer bolts from the pedal box
