Coming along - two questions, why did you remove the rib from the bonnet and secondly won't the pipes to the oil cooler interfere with the grille surround? I think the cooler was mounted behind the grille on the Mk1 coopers?

The bonnet.... no reason was just an idea.
As for the oil cooler, I’ve got 90 degree fittings and the just about miss the grill. When the spot lights are positioned you shouldn’t seen anything... hopefully
