"unlock the bolt"? Is that flattening the washer where it is bent up?

All this is costing you a lot of unneeded cash, unless your engine has done over about 75,000 miles.

Looks like it did 80k before it was parked up for the long term. 

For me this project is a bit about the experience of taking an engine and car fully to bits. Always wanted to but moved around too much with work until now.

 

Really enjoying it, but I'm glad there is so much support on here.
