Hey all

Been given a set of mint 13" x 7J starmags from a friend and want to fit them to my mini but I have a few questions...

- does anyone have a template for how much I need to cut the arches to fit 13"s
- do I need to tub the rear arches
- the pcd on them is 4 x 100mm rather than the 101mm on a mini, I have read elsewhere about the use of wobble nuts to solve this but they are advised against for minis
- is there any other steering arm / suspension issues I would need to sort out due to the size of the wheels?

Much ta
Matt

sell them not suitable for a Mini and the tyres look way to tall to even fit on the rear of a Mini also looks like the ET is totally wrong for a FWD car.

so nothing going right for them on a Mini.

I don't mind taking the tyres off, I can get some swapped Dover easy enough.

Excuse my simple mindedness but what is the ET?

Just to follow up, realised the wheels are 7J not the 8 I originally thought

Now I'm thoroughly confused.

The wheels have 7J stamped on the back but measure 8inches wide? 205 tyres fitted and not stretched either

ET is the offset.

Quoted width is where the bead of the tyre sits (so narrower than putting a tape measure across the extremities of the wheel. As Nicklouse says, you'll need to know the offset in order to check for suitability. I'm sure a wheel expert more knowledgeable than me will be along!!

Just loosely fitted one to the front to see how they look.

The tyres are massive so if is kept them I would have to put some low profiles on.
Needs spacers as rubs on the inner arch.
Outer arch needs trimming to allow full turn also.

I'm starting to think its just not meant to be....

Bung them on ebay, and buy something that fits!

Yeah I think that's for the best.
They are near mint with good tyres so should sell easy enough.
