Castle nuts

No, they changed from 1-5/16" to 34mm at the end of production.

Rear bins I think remained the same, even on the variants.

I changed a rear bin on a MK1 and it was different to the later car as the door aperture is smaller.

How about

Rear brake backing plate?

Rear valance closing panel

Front scuttle closing panel.

Top and bottom suspension arm

Front tie rod

The windscreen.

went from toughened to laminate

I think even the rubber changed in the 90's due to thicker laminate

maybe the filler trim is the same ?

Hydrolastic top arms are different. The knuckle joint is spaced farther out (or is it in?). I think the bottom arms will be the same, unless anyone knows of any other geometry tweaking - like happened with the steering.

Rear shoes to go with the back plate, unless we're going to get picky about the lining material.
