Would be interesting to know whether the buyer knew what they were buying, price seems massively steep.
I'd imagine they did know it's not a Moke, a quick glance at a few pictures and the difference becomes clear.

Those are my pictures though, the listing showed one bad picture and it was described as a two seater moke.
OK we know it isn't a Moke but did someone hear the word moke and smell a profit?
Nah, even from a brief look online it's clear the car isn't a Moke.
The numberplate is provided and you can stick it through the free DVLA/.Gov online service;
Vehicle make: YAK G P

Maybe it's worth it then? Not to me it wasn't though.
Doubtful, an early moke is worth £20k or so in mint condition, half that for a later one.
A replica is worth a grand or two, in good condition.
In fact there's a Yak on eBay right now, £1750 needing some work but comes with almost another entire cars worth of spares, it looks pretty tidy. Safe to say, at £3600 someone's had a total howler over the auction deal, you were probably right with it being worth a couple of hundred quid.
They're ugly little sod's aren't they?
