Test for power at the white/red on the solenoid (if not it will be the ignition switch)

If there is power on the above then check that the solenoid is earthed to the inner wing(clean, shiny metal on the solenoid and wing) then check the boot floor to battery terminal earth Go to the full post

That is an interesting piece of information and something i did not know. I will have to look at mine before i try starting it as the last owner said he could not get it to run

Happy to help, if it doesn't have power check the ignition switch terminals for corrosion
