Hi there,
I’m building a classic kit car, a Rochdale GT, originally designed in 1958 and need to cut down a windscreen to fit it. I’m widening the body shell to fit the donor chassis better so the original screen won’t work.
Laminated glass can be cut down so a mini screen would make a good starting point if the curvature is right.
My question is what is the curvature of the mini front windscreen. If you put a straight edge across the screen inside from edge to edge what is the gap between the edge and the windscreen at the centre? I think it tapers so the gap would be smaller at the top than the bottom?
Thanks in advance
Phil
