Can anyone recomend where to buy the best fiting aluminium MK3 door skins.

The Mini door company have a god reputation on here, so fit should not be a problem.

 

Bear-in-mind that aluminium door skins are really for competition when the regulations allow such a modification. Check the rules before fitting to avoid disappointment!

 

They are far from ideal for a road car as they will dent easily and not offer the same level of side impact strength. You will not really notice a performance increase on road use.

Also another thing to bare in mind if the skin has not been suitably sealed before fitting, dissimilar metal corrosion will eat both the skin and steel frame very quickly.
