Mini Wont Start

Hi

 

Mini wont start, i have checked spark all good, timing on number 1 cylinder valves are closed, timing 1342 carb is getting petrol but dont know if its going to cylinders!!

Spray something flammable in the air intake and see if that works? That was you’ll know if spark/timing are all good... just a case of working out why no fuel

Did it run before and has suddenly stopped or is this the first time you’ve gone to start it after doing some sort of repair ?

It would start but running really bad, checked timing and it was out 180* so sorted that, but now it wont start

 

(wouldn't run under normal driving)

Hmm id revert back to your previous ht lead order (check the bellow image)
Then if it was running lumpy and messy could be that the ignition timing was off. Get it running really bad again and try rotating the distributor a bit and see if that helps anything.
Apart from that, just check that all 4 plugs have spark. If so then my guess would be ignition timing or leads being in the wrong order
