Here for sale we have my Mini 30 which I have now owned for 5 years and unfortunately must sell due to lack of storage space. I bought the car fitted with a 1275cc MG metro engine which has been tuned up to stage 2 specification including a fast road cam shaft and centre exit exhaust, the engine pulls strongly and does not smoke. Mechanically the car is sound and runs/drives as you would expect. The odometer is showing 67,000 miles.
Cosmetically the car needs some TLC and has minor corrosion in the usual problem areas. One A panel requires replacement and there are small patches or corrosion on the scuttle and a hole in the top of the wing. Fairly easy to repair. Structurally the car is solid and the rust seen is only ‘cosmetic’ and not thought to be an issue at MOT time.
The car comes complete with the original limited edition Mini 30 interior and has been fitted with black superlite 12” wheels fitted with yokohama rubber.
Work carried out under my ownership includes:
- New subframe fitted with polybush setup.
- New rear Hilos; suspension cones and shock absorbers.
- Rust repairs to the inner boot floor.
- New alternator & fanbelt in the last year.
- Recent service.
The car comes with 6 months MOT and is ready to drive away. It would make a perfect rolling restoration project or equally a good little mini to have some fun is as it is currently. I am located in Hanworth near Jct 1 of the M3 motorway.
