Found this in some of my old paperwork, not sure exactly what year the advert is from (1998/99?) but I guess they did not work?......the company still seems to exist as PolyTorq but the Adjustable Mini Poly Spring is no longer listed. (Price quoted several years ago was £75 pair).

The description of the spring says that it compresses linearly. This is absolutely useless for a Mini which absolutely requires a rising rate spring to avoid the suspension 'bottoming out' over big bumps. It looks as bad, or even worse, then the coil spring junk which is still sold as an 'improvement' for Mini suspension. Another company where profit is more important than safety and reliability.

In fact, the rubber cone springs are not simply rising rate springs, but the rate at which the load to displacement increases, itself increases as the spring deflects. This prevents the suspension springing medium from going solid and causing damage to the sub-frames and suspension components. It also reduces the risk of loss of control over big bumps.
