So I needed to replace a lot of bits around the front corner of my Mayfair. (Inner fitch , step , inner sill , drivers side front floor ,
the a post and bits around it.

My issue is : I ordered a repair panel from mini spares for the hinge panel but that’s only a third of what I need as I noticed it’s got anothe panel between the door hinge and this panel and on the inside of the car it has yet another panel from the inner fitch to the door post.

I just want somebody to confirm this is how it should be as I visited a mate with a mini sidewalk today and his seems to only have the hinge panel and not another bit between the panel and the actual hinges.

Is his correct or is mine ???

Sorry for the lack of pictures I haven’t worked out photo bucket yet but I am going to look into it now.

JESUS DONT THINK I REALISED HOW HARD THIS JOB WOULD BE!!!! (FULL PANIC MODE!!!)

There are 3 panels.

The hinge post, The A post and the flitch. 4 if you include the boxing plate

Have a look here from when i did mine

http://www.theminifo...rebuild/page-51

You may have to go through a few pages to see everything to do with it.

Cheers

Ben
