I’m fitting the boot floor but can’t get the rear to sit flush in the corner where it meets the quarter panel behind the arch. It seems to have a detail that would need the bottom of the quarter panel to be higher than the boot lip.

..looks like someone's dropped that repair panel on that corner and buckled it. i'm pretty sure that should all be flat
are both corners the same ?

My heritage boot floor was similar to that, I just used a clamp to pull it into shape

Had to do it in the factory, so why shouldn't we have to do it outside the factory.

Thanks for your replies guys
More pics from other angles
Both sides are the same and the fold lines are pretty distinct, but as you say these should be flat mating surfaces
I will get the valance out and lay that over the top see if that gives any clues.

Ive done some research and I think I may have a problem with the boot hinge panel, its been replaced at some point.
Here is one of Ben_O floor replacements, it has the same feature
Ive also noticed that the bumper lip on his is angled down and the flat part of the boot that I thought was bent should sit flat onto the flange of the rear quater panel
The Mole grips are holding it flat, you can see the lip down at an angle.
Ben_O also has suggested that the boot floor and rear panel lips should be fairly close requiring little to close them, I have a big gap

going to have another go at fitting it, make sure that the boot floor is located correctly on the rear bulkhead, clamp the front of the seat to its support bracket
Will take some more pics and report back, hoping its not another panel to replace, rear panel was one of 2 (bulkhead) that I was not replacing

Yup the lip should be angled down and not level.

Yup, supposed to be like that. I've replaced the rear, boot floor and valance all from Heritage:
Its so the lip folds down slightly so rainwater can drain away
