I just pulled and reinstalled my head after a head gasket failure. Foolishly on my part I removed the TBI top and bottom part (I didn't need to - the whole unit just lifts out once the manifold nuts are removed and all wires are disconnected and the water hoses are removed (I don't like the 2 at the bottom, but I guess no one does)
anyhow (pic below) I dameged the very thin and very fragile at each end black gasket, I tacked the crack with permatex but don't like doing this kind of fix as it creates a point of weakness (and can cause trouble later down the line)
but where do you get this gasket - couldn't see it on minispares and couldn't find any on ebay either.
