Hey everyone,

I am changing from the early 1959-1960 style front seat mounts to the newer bolt on front seat brackets. However, the distance between the mounting points is different. We were using longer bolts and spacers to get everything lined up properly before and I would like to not do that again. So my question is, what is the measurements from each bracket to the next so I can mount the new ones in the “correct” location.

Thanks!

I can do that and customize the fit for my specific application, but I wanted to know where they would normally be attached. I’m looking for some A-B, B-C, C-D measurements so I can mount the brackets in the original location as if it was an MK2 or newer. That way everything is plug and play if something changes in the future.

I am not sure what other variations are built into the MK1 chassis from later models, but it’s one more way to future proof the car since true MK1 seats are getting up there in price and mine aren’t in the greatest condition already.
