Hi all.

 

I have a Mk2 Cooper 's' in at the moment and need to replace the diagonal front panel support brace as the wrong one was fitted.

 

I have a picture of where it should go but I'm not convinced I have mine in the correct position as it doesn't look right.

 

Here is what was fitted

 

 

Here is what I am fitting in the position that relates to the points in the picture

 

 

And here is the picture I have

 

 

If someone would be so kind as to measure the angle of the support for me and it's position in relation to the centre of the front panel, I would be most grateful.

Are you on the mk1 forum as sure someone would know on there, my mk2 is only 998 cooper else would help.

That's great Paul.

 

It shows it more upright than I have yours mocked up which is how i thought it should be.

 

The picture I have above shows the support running in line with one of the grille mounting holes which is where I mocked yours up to and it just doesn't look right.

 

I can get it welded in now!
