Identify A Body Please

Have a mini just purchased it's reg is Rbb 910m which I presume is a mk 3 but need confirmation as I suspect it's a later bodyshell.Can you please give me clues to find out thanks

It should be a tax-exempt MK3 bodyshell.... (later Mk3 with a rod change floor, & no rotadip hole behind the rear seat).

If you use the 'search' function at the top right hand side of the homepage you will find lots of threads on year identification.

Main things to look for are:

 

It should have a solid mounted front subframe (with two bolts on the top mounts on each side).

It should have a drip rail on the edge of the roof.

 

If you post some pictures of the shell we can tell you what it is.

 

One easy way to check is if it has rear seat belt mounts welding into it then its definitely not a MK3 (although I don't think these appeared until the MK5 so its not a conclusive that if it doesn't have these its a MK3).
