So this Studio 2 shell is my next customer project. This looked like quite a good mini but, dig a bit deeper and a bit of a shocker, some seriously dodgy previous work on the sills, inner sills, floors etc as some of the photos show. The sills were not attached in many places, heel board totally rotten and inner sills not welded at the back at all. Lots of bits of metal stuck in places with silicone.

Looking good Josh

I did a quote on a studio 2 last year and it was absolutely shocking. Not messed about with too much but just rusty as hell.

I think he ended up selling it on because the repair costs were too high.

Apart from the bodges on this one, it looks pretty good!

Cheers Ben. Yeah I think they are the age when they started getting much worse. This is not bad, just a shame that someone has been at it.

Last bits of welding were to sort a horrible repair in one corner of the boot floor, repair rear arch and new valance and closing panels. Other than the one corner, the boot floor was pretty good and original along the back edge hence just the corner repair.

Thanks. Yes they are good and definitely worth it if your inner sills/floors are not great, much better then cutting out and doing little bits all the way along.
