Ebay Mini - Can't Be A Clubman?

As the seller says it is registered as a Clubman, but as we all know Clubmans don't have a roundnose and there weren't any Mini Clubmans until 1969. It's clearly a Mk3 onwards shell, bit of an odd one...

It's only done 400 miles since its last mot 11 years ago and isn't taxed even though its free, avoid!

The only thing that is 50 yrs old is the registration number. Later mk3 shell, not my thing at all, complete mis match of parts. Ding dong

You should be beaten around the trussocks with a wet bream for mentioning the Mk3 in the same breath as this Bitsa :P     -it's not even an early Mk4!

Rear seat belt reinforcement bracket dates this to 1982 at the earliest ....& other parts suggests it could be 1984 on (but no later than 1988).

You’d think, but Clubman’s were not released until 1969, so there’s no way a Clubman could of been registered in Sept 1967, unless of course it was a typo going from the Green Log book to computer records in the 70s/80s

Oh, of course, that's what it is. Its last shell was probably a Clubman.

Yeah an MPI Clubman cabriolet ERA turbo countryman moke, very rare.
