My new project
It’s a 1969 bmc(chambers)special
Only one ever made based on an ado16(Austin 1100/1300
This car has some unique features,the front and rear seats back onto each other and the rears face the back off the car and you gain entry through the rear tailgate.
There are lots of holes in the seats which hot/cold air is blown through including air vents on the roof.
It runs a 1275 a series engine
Not quite a full mini kitcar as it uses austin 1100 front subframe but its got a minis heart

I see it originally had Cortina back lights - I'm not sure that colour green does it any favours, is it original or do I see red patches underneath? I think I'd do it gunmetal or silver if it were mine.

hi john yes it was originally red,havnt thought of colours yet as that is going to be a long way off

hi john yes it was originally red,havnt thought of colours yet as that is going to be a long way off

 

Dark silver or grey would look good

managed to get a replacement front subframe and trailing arm,painted them up and ready to fit
