I would not have used a shared garage.

Wouldn't have scrapped my 1967 mini 30 years ago because it wasn't worth repairing.

Sorry.. more after having it than before.

Stockpiled all the Mk1 Coopers & S I was offered for 'spares or repair' in the late 1970's early '80's for just a few hundred pounds each.....

Would have kept hold of the orange Mk3 850 I sold for £75 :shy:  and put the BX GTi I sold to get my Cooper in storage. Not worth much now but my favorite car ever.

had put my rust-ridden black with gold stripped 1275gt with full webasto roof on ice back when I was 22 and had zero cash awaiting the day that it could have been fully restored and worth a pretty penny

I'd have kepy my 98 Brooklands green 98 Sport LE  :(

One of many cars I wish I could have back - but too many to use/store.

I wouldn't have trashed my '64 mk1, my first car. I ran it into the ground when I was a skint 17 year old

Would have brought the fully restored pick up for 2k that I was offered. If only my foot could kick my own arse.

This is a very good post!

I would not have messed around trying different springs on my coilovers just changed them out for a rear subframe like now.

Not messed around with adjustable bits on the car. I would have it fixed as is, if it's not square then sort why it's not square and stay with fixed pieces. It's alot of expense and hassle trusting someone to set it up when they actually don't.

Put it on the road sooner. Instead of it being for pure track as you can spend more time with the car and I learnt alot more.

Thought it through before wasting money buying cosmetic stuff that I then disliked a few months later.

Things I'd do differently? Nothing really as I've got the three cars how I want them ?

Massive thanks to my old dad for the countless hours in the shed welding, painting and building ?

I wouldn't have sold my 1973 Porsche Carrera 2.7 RST for £20k in 2006. They are now selling for around £400,000. If only!!

I would also have kept a few Minis I have owned, such as a 1980 Pick-Up and a 1961 Mini Van.
