certainly not cheap, but considering what it would cost to build an equivalent today using an early GT i don't think it's too outlandish.
not keen on the bonnet bulge, but do like the front mounted s/c & blow through arrangement.

I think a NACA duct would look great instead of that box.

Extensively lightened, not just the wallet - they threw away the alternator. Maybe they could rig up a plug for a ev charging station and plug in when they are at the shops.

The alternator (a small one) was put on the other end of the charger drive

I think the £30k was a reference to the cost of a nice Cooper s these days? I have to say the installation looks cumbersome compared with the Vmaxscart for example? But a nice car for the money paid.
