Hi there, I brought some parts from you earlier in the year.

Looking through your build ( great by the way ), who did the blasting for you?

Cheers

Simon.

i've one ever seen fake right hand necks & those are bolt on (as no hole). Can you send me a link to a left hand that works with a hole please?

Thanks for all positive feedback, I'll be honest, i'm chuffed with how it's come out. Not everyone was sure about the colour but all assembled I wouldn't have it any other way. If i had to pick at anything i don't like how the 10x5 S offsets look with the 'wide' group 2 arches; IMO it need's more wheel or less arch. Here's a few pic I didn't have on Wednesday.

Absolutely stunning car, apart from the arches, narrow gp2’s with the chrome strip would complete it in my opinion

It looks mega but you've got a bit too much arch for those wheels. Group 2's would look 'right' but unfortunately you've drilled the holes to suit the current wide ones which will be higher in the body compared to some group 2's if you keep the same arch to tyre gap.

I have a set of 10x6 to try on, maybe they will look better. At this stage i figured best to get all the weight in the car and the suspension set up before committing to anything? Also going to fit the chrome strip and bumpers as I recon this will help make the arches look less like dumbo ears. lol

Good point  :( Not impossible to change it, but not now, going to focus on getting it running. I'd allowed a certain amount of time/budget for re-work & remediation. Maybe this a sign I should have gone with black roof and group 2s!

Minilite do a really nice 10x6 wide offset wheel that would suit the arches. You don’t see them very often as they’re mostly sold to Japan but they look great. They’re a deep dish but all silver not diamond cut and look much more period correct.

Before diving into that I’d have a look a see if you can get a set of group 2 narrows that have the same mounting pattern.
