Hi all,

Just wondering, is anybody using an alloy 12G940, all be it forced induction or not?
If so, what’s your thoughts.
What, other then the weight, would be the main benefits?
With all the changes I’m making, ive been considering this.

There’s enough meat on it to make your compression ratio whatever you need just by skimming the face apparently.
Thoughts.
Thanks
Chris

For about 1/2 the price you could buy a converted BMW twin cam head.

..and then spend at least 3x that again on all the other bits you'd need to get it running

All that dough to chase 6.32 hp at the top end. On a road car. Really?

I was looking at it more from the weight saving and added cooling ability due to the higher intake temperatures generated by the supercharger.
