Hello

any kind soul that has an Mk1 or 2 with A panels in the correct form / model ,like original or Heritage  that wants to take a close up photo on the lower bend or if possible, draw it/make a template on a paper and scan it.

 

I think i might have a problem with the lower shape on mine.......

The arch looks far to sharp on radius to fit on the a panel, I think the a panel looks correct

Anyone who wants to draw of the lower bend on a piece of paper?

Don't have a mk1-2 but it looks like the arch extentions are wrong... Maybe it changed with later models?

Edit: come to think about it, it looks like it's the rear bend radius... Where did you get them from? Are they the right way round? Might seem stupid I know, but worth a go... ?

i'd agree, the wheel arch is the issue, not the radius on the panel

 

Ben's doing the a-panels on my pickup at the moment and there's plenty of photos of that section

the arcers are minispares ms134, they fit reasonably around except for the lower part.....yes i agree it looks like the radius of the rear, but its to sort to fit in the rear. The rear archers fit great by the way.

 

The a panels i used was a real pain to get to fit,some really old no name panels that came with the car so therefore i have my doubts
