I have just fitted an electronic ignition distributor to my 1989 mini 998.
I have a spare coil from my 1991 Cooper, should I use the Cooper coil or keep the existing coil on the car?
Thanks

You need an electronic coil to go with the electronic distributor. if your wiring loom has a ballast resistor wire(pink/white) for coil positive I'd advise to remove this and fit a standard 12v wire.

Ok thanks, I will fit the coil (electronic ignition) from my Cooper.
