What I need is someone that can help me put together a parts list for a complete front and rear subframe. All I know that I want is disc brakes all around.
Need every little piece down to the nuts and bolts to fasten it to the shell

The above is for a single bolt front subframe post 1976. If your car is older than this please tell us as there are considerable differences.

Front brakes for 7.5" discs.

You need drive shafts so if you happen to have drum brake type drive shafts they will fit this kit.

I’ve got complete subframes both front and rear but they are all rotten and broken stuff on them so need to replace almost everything.
Had a working car from the start just doing a nuts and bolts restoration.

The car is a 1977 Leyland 1000

Then everything I have posted will be suitable for your car. Get yourself a Haynes manual or a workshop manual Andalusia tell you exactly where it all goes.

Good work Neil, that's quite a list and a bit of time to pull all that together.

There would be some parts you could salvage these like the front upper and lower arms and likely the Radius Arms, as well as the Trailing Arms from the Rear Subframe.

The thing is with a little bit of research and using Minispares website amongst others its all there for you. It is age dependant especially for the front subframes with regards to mounting kits.
As i previously mentioned get yourself a Haynes manual or a Workshop manual

This Post Was Written Before Anyone Else Answered But Late At Night And I Forgot To Post It - Thought I had better post it anyway I am no expert but i'll add my thoughts. First up you need to add some more details are you planning on 10 or 12 inch wheels (can't quite tell from the pics on your link), this will determine the parts list. If you are running 10 inch wheels then you need 7.5 inch Disc Brakes. Also I had never heard of rear disc brakes (definitely not standard fit anyway)but a quick search and it seems that they can be bought according to what I have read here they are only needed for very long race conditions so if this is a road goer (unless money is no option) then there is no point - also unless you are fitting some kind of steel spoked wheels you would not see them With regards to subframe options, building a subframe complete from scratch using new parts is going to be more expensive that buying a complete build. If you are happy to refurbish them, then there are always plenty on offer in various condition, just a lot of time to strip clean and re-assemble. I too am looking to convert from front Drums to 7.5 Discs for 10 inch wheels, on several occasions I have nearly purchased second hand parts but in the end it is more cost effective to buy a conversion kit (or at least was until it looks like Somerford Mini seem to have stopped selling there's which was the best value one around. I thoroughly recommend that you do some research and look at the parts catalogues on Mini Spares to help identify what you need, but I am sure there are more knowledgable people on here that could help.

I bought my drum to 7.5 disc conversion kit from Huddersfield Mini. The kit needed building (balljoints shimmed and drive flange attached) but went together very well and is still shiny! This Post Was Written Before Anyone Else Answered But Late At Night And I Forgot To Post It - Thought I had better post it anyway I am no expert but i'll add my thoughts.
