I was a director of the company that did the design definition for the chassis and power-train installation engineering of the RS200 and was responsible for doing all the negotiation with Ford Motorsport on that contract.

In fact I was offered an RS200 at a very 'special' low price, but as I had a Porsche 911 then I said I didn't want one of those 'plastic' things. Oh what would it be worth now!!

My son has co-driven a Metro 6R4 on a UK National rally.

Those Gp.B cars were something else.

That's so cool! Definitely would've been a good deal, plus it would have been a fun car to drive on the roads.

At a local classic car show! nice car, their was a Metro 6R4 as well but no photo.

How many kilometres has this done since new? Does he use it for historic rally events, etc?

I think it's done about 6k miles but I could be wrong. I've only seen it in static shows, it's stunning.

It's not set up for competition of any sort, it's purely a road car built for homologation purposes, they famously never actually built the required amount but this is the real deal, I think it's got a radio and everything!

November reminds me of the RAC rally stage going though Sutton Park by me in the mid 80's, it was superb. Always was dark, wet and muddy.
