A must for all classic Mini rallying fans!

"The HRCR are having their open day at Gaydon on the 12th Jan 2019.
The theme is 60 Years of the Mini and 10 years of the Mini Cup. We have got every car that has won the Mini cup during the last 10 years on display with the crews, with the exception of last years winner Ray Cunningham, as he could not make the show.

Everyone is welcome and entry is free but if you want to visit the museum there is an additional charge."

"To help celebrate the 60th Anniversary of BMC’s Mini at the HRCR Open Day, some very special guests will attend.

Confirmed so far are former competitions manager Stuart Turner, Monte winning driver Paddy Hopkirk, co-drivers Paul Easter, Willy Cave, and Mike Wood, plus BMC Special Tuning manager Basil Wales.

To add to that, core members of the ‘works’ preparation team that made the Mini such a success will join them, including team manager Bill Price, senor technician Den Green and technicians Tommy Eales and Bob Whittington.

The British Motor Museum has promised to reunite the team with the actual Monte winning Mini up on the Mezzanine floor as part of the Open Day celebrations.

Special guest interviews will take place in the Mezzanine area by the vehicle display from around 11 am."
