Hi,

I am looking for a classic mini specialist in or near Surrey that can:

o) Replace my suspension that currently has really short Koni springs (with either more reasonable length springs or factory rubber cones).

o) Replace all engine mounts and also fit an additional stabiliser/mount at the top of the engine.

o) Listen for a "grinding" noise coming from one of the wheels and fix it.

o) Align the car's tracking.

o) Align the steering wheel, so that it is straight when the front wheels are straight.

In addition, the following would be a bonus, but not a showstopper:

o) Can fit an immobiliser to "Thatcham" spec.

o) Stocks a car cover specifically made for the classic mini for outdoor use.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks.

Hi

Ian Bannings Car Audio & Security Ltd in Slyfield Guildford did a good job on fitting an alarm in our mini.

NBA Sports Cars based at Unit 93 Dunsfold Park, Dunsfold have done some good work on my midget. Nigel has a wealth of knowledge on classic cars

If you want a trip to the Isle of Wight then Ben at Mill Road Garage is very good but the ferry cost will add to the total.

Ive had good luck with croydon mini's. They are busy but take the time to go over everything before and after the repairs which i liked. Plus they are open on saturday mornings so i can drop off and pick up without cutting work.
