Not sure if Wanted ads are allowed? if not sorry mods.

 

Basically I'm after a working MPI ECU. Physical condition is not relevant as long as its know working...

You realise that they are coded to the 5AS unit and immobiliser fob? Just plugging an ecu in from a different car won't work.

not sure on this but there a few diffrent types , you can get rm repaired as well , goole is your friend????

Thats right, there's two different types - depending on the VIN

Guys thanks for all the info, But yes i know they need coding to the 5AS/Immobilizer I have the kit to do that.

 

And i know they can be reprogrammed/repaired but due to various problems I cant get that done to the two I have.

 

As for the different types based on VIN i don't think there really is any difference in operation.

I'd be interested to see how you get on, I couldn't get an earlier ecu matched to a later car
