Does running a cat reduce power by much / at all ?

nope. and you can get cat with less cells that effect things less. BUT the issues you have is you need to meet the correct emissions. and Cats and DPFs if original need to be there for he MOT.

 

so it really comes down to exactly what you plan.

 

currently adding a cat to the race car!
