Hi guys, appreciate your help here, I have re-installed my refurbished steering column into car, and fitted wheel, my problem now is in what order does the top hat&spring go and which way up is the top hat.

There is the bigger washer first, then the spring, plastic thing, small washer and circlip.

The brass tophat effectively lines the plastic hornpush with the spring sitting under it.
Make sure you have metal to metal contact between the indicator clamp and column for the green light to work. I also had to put an earth lead from the rack to the body for the horn to work.
