Am selling a pair of fairly good condition original un spaced MiniFin drums .
How much are they worth
Got no idea as I got them as part of a job lot of parts.

And correct me if I'm wrong Nick, but do all the reproductions now have the built-in spacer? So probably very attractive to someone with an early car who would like Minifin's but wants to keep the standard offset?

All now have a built in spacer, so original are desirable. Would be of interest to someone on the Mk1 forum no doubt...

I wanted a pair of these for my 998 cooper as I run 7 inch discs on the front, took a while to find some and I think I paid about £60 for the pair, was happy at that, they are not made anymore, but then not many people run 7 inch discs as parts for those are not available either, so anyone running 7.5 discs wants spacered drums which are available new, then people with standard drums probably couldn’t be bothered with upgrading, so yes they are rare but not in heavy demand, I would think at price I paid they would sell

I bought some last year for £50 and then had them machined back to smooth which cost and other £35. If they’re in good condition they’re worth £70 ish I think. Ideal for people who’ve retained drum brakes but want to help eliminate brake fade.

I machined a mini hub so that it was running perfectly true and mounted drums on hub so brake face matches stud PCD.
One took a single pass just to clean up the face and runs true and the other is only running slightly out and hardly worth touching.
Probably spent about 3 hours not counting the beadblasting.

Wish I knew how thick cast iron liner is .... ?
