Removed from a low mileage damaged MG Metro many years ago.

 

Been sat in dry storage since for a project that didn't happen.

 

Very clean in original paint, never stripped or taken apart.Sat on complete original gearbox 

 

Turns over by hand very smoothly (with plugs removed)

 

Looks very dry and judging by the clean gearbox and engine paint would back up the low mileage.

 

Presumed good to go but cannot guarantee.

 

Idea of value please

Complete with inlet and carb, dizzy etc?

It could be complete with HIF44 and inlet. I am not sure if dizzy is about

There are a few engine/gearboxes for sale on gumtree and eBay that range in price from £395 up to £800. Based on the ones that are advertised I would think that somewhere between £500 and £600 is achievable. Good luck
