Not bad will do a 90 dgree bend not quite as sharp next time but its fine

Excellent mate, wish I had your metalwork skills. Those panels are better than Hadrian without a expensive press.

Thank you mate just trial and error the step could be better but as a first go its not bad the next 1 will be 100% its the little step around 4mm deep bfore the lip the cill welds to thats the pain but i will make a tool for the bender to nail that

Finishedwthe pillar and drowned it in primer for the time being still needs welding to the inner strengthener which will be new and fabd by me also offered the flitch panel and trimmed it to suit i will be replacing the whole inner wing in 3 peices that will be welded together and dressed

Started to get the step in plenty of dressing and profiling the weld to match the corner profile to blend the old to new

So houston we have a problem when i got this shell it had already been got at there was no outer cill no door step and a rotten pillar so today i have offered a lightweight door and it doesnt fit ime wondering wether the shell had sagged on this sid
Plan is to put a brace bar from the x member up to the windscreen pillar weld at the x member and door opening box section braces fit the door and wedge choc into an acceptable door gap position and then weld to the windscreem pillar check and make and fit a new inner pillar (the peice insidewith the holes)

So ive been working away for a while had a mate do a bit and he kinda ruined the lip on the A pillar no drama ime goin to deseam it (properly) ive already 70% done the p/s including a 1.2mm steel strip down the inside of the windscreen pillar
As a backing for a nice fat weld its at least as strong as original without a doubt
