When is the next large Mini show? We've had Bingley, just realised I need a few more bits :)

That looks a good show but it's the same weekend as the Practical Classics show.

Brooklands is about a mile away from me, but when I went there about 3 years ago, there was a real lack of trade stands.....apart from someone selling overpriced model cars and other non-mini related stalls.
Has this got any better? A have a few things on my wish list and trade show discounts, plus no shipping costs are always a winner.

I hope so, just booked a room at the Brooklands hotel, if all else fails at least we can visit the museum

I went last year and the trade area was very poor. But the museum areas are worth visiting so it’s not a complete loss
Looks like I'm going to give this a miss then, as sounds like the stands haven't improved, which is a shame (I've done the museum multiple times).
It's good to check out at all the stalls selling new bits and make that purchase you hadn't quite intended to do. Sadly not the case with this one.
I'll probably end up waiting until the London to Brighton to part with a load of cash.

Its fairly clear Brooklands don't "encourage" traders.
Not sure whether its the fees they charge or the fact they want people to spend money in their cafe etc.

Yes L2B normally has a good turn out of traders. Also you get a few people who bring bits’n’bobs along with them and sell them by their cars. So worth keeping an eye out.

Well attended Brooklands today - amazing. So many Minis on display it was like stepping back to the 80s, all models and great to see them all being driven. The only downside was the lack of traders, where were you? Lots of space and a missed opportunity for a huge amount of business.
Guess we'll have to wait for Himley to spend our pound notes.

Any traders on here to comment on this? Were they asking too much for a stand?
Some years back, Sandown Race Course in Esher (about 7 miles away from Brooklands) hosted a Mini day and it was rammed with traders - whereas I've seen a poor turnout at Brooklands both times I've been and it doesn't sound like its improved.
