Hi all! 

 

I have a set of Cobra Classic Buckets mounted on to the normal sliding and tilting bases. My problem is when they are in the 'locked down' position there is a significant gap between the floor mounted hoop and the latch on the seat base, meaning that they have the ability to lift/tilt by about 20mm 

 

 

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there something I'm missing?

There has to be a bit of movement to make it convenient to release the latch.

 

The hoop has to allow more in some cars that others, because some cars were fitted with "thicker" carpeting.

 

If it is a worry, add an offcut of extra carpet / mat, under your carpet.

No need to worry about the drivers side .... you'll be sat in it and the seat belt will keep you in place!
