Hi guys/gals

I'm looking at putting an earth strap on the mini, the one to the rear engine mount broke away but there has always been a not her from ecu attachment point to engine... but wanting to add another (Just incase) could I add to the lower engine steady?? Or is there some brighter ideas.

Thanks

It`s always good to have an extra earth strap, The short bolt on the tear drop front subframe mount to starter motor housing is a good one.

mounting to the subframe is a bad idea as it is rubber mounted. take it to the body. but it does not really matter as long as it makes a circuit.

Cylinder head to slam panel. Works brilliantly!

The short bolt that holds the tear drop mount goes directly into the body via the front panel so the rubber mount is not in the equation and there is no need to drill an extra hole.
