A key from another barrel won't work as it's the wrong pin sequence.
I'm unsure if you can buy just the barrel or if you need the complete assembly.

Do you have the key code?
Do you have any documents from when the car was first purchased. Sometimes there is key information on the original invoice/sales document.

Don't know if this is still the practice but some car companies used to type a code number on the barrel which can be used by key suppliers to cut a duplicate key
