Surviving cars and stunning reproductions from epic chase movie The Italian Job will be reunited in this special exhibit to mark the iconic film’s 50th anniversary! We will pay tribute to this great comedy caper at The London Classic Car Show, sharing with you the line-up of its star cars featuring:

  • Lamborghini Miura
  • Aston Martin DB4 Convertible
  • Jaguar E-Type Coupe
  • Jaguar E-Type Roadster
  • Bedford Val Coach
  • OM Furgonato Sicurezza ‘Bullion’ Van
  • And of course the unforgettable Red, White and Blue Mini Coopers!

The 1969 British heist film, which stars Michael Caine, Noel Coward and Benny Hill amongst others, is famed for its incredible chase scenes through Turin, Italy, with the cars being the real stars of the movie. Together with Octane Magazine have curated this special celebratory feature, bringing together original models and replicas to mark the film’s half century.

"To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the iconic Mini, we have teamed up with POPBANGCOLOUR to create the ultimate London Mini. Decorated with the union jack, london eye, tower bridge, the gherkin and more, this classic represents the best our capital has to offer. The custom paintjob is constructed entirely out of remote-control cars, die-cast mini’s and toy tyres, resulting in its signature “mini-on-mini” effect!"

Cilla Black's Wood & Pickett Mini

"Bobby Willis and Cilla Black’s 30-year romance has been well told and proved a fairytale in the world of showbiz. Eight years after their marriage in 1969, Bobby surprise surprised Cilla with a brand new 1977 Mark IV Mini 1000 that was extensively upgraded by Wood & Pickett on Abbey Road, just a stone’s throw from the recording studios; the spiritual London home of Merseybeat. The upgrades included solid black paintwork, extended wheel arches, Margrave leather interior and walnut dashboard. Recently restored whilst retaining its originality, the car will be going on sale on Valentine’s weekend this year, in the 60th anniversary year of the Mini, at the London Classic Car Show and is estimated to sell for between £30,000-£40,000."
