Morning all,

Anybody here using any of the MED camshafts on offer?
If so, results/thoughts
I've not used one and it's not for my car, going into a mk2 cooper S 1275 engine, mainly for road use, but the owner does race cars, so picking it to get the odd thrashing.
I have an Evo 1 in my supercharged 1275, and have used sw05-07 before with good results.
Fill me with your knowledge people.

Cheers
Chris

I didn't have a good experience with them, avoid at all costs.

Must say their inlet manifold was really bad. Casting halves weren't properly aligned, about 6mm off center. Returning it for a different manifold took 8 months until I contacted lee directly..

Meanwhile I've had sterling service with MED..

I've used the sw5, Sw10, and 276, all great for a fast road Mini, but the sw5 being the most liveable and easy to drive, easy to catch an sw10 off cam

Depends on user application at the end of the day, where I can I daily my cammy sc box'd Mini, but then im young.

I agree with midas, I've used MED since the early 90's and I've always had great products, service and advice from them.

TMF have no reason to censor a thread. If people want to start their own thread about the service of any company supplying mini parts they’re more than welcome to

I’ve never had a problem with their products or service, nice bunch of guys.
MED is not the only cam supplier I’m considering, I just know how good their other parts are and had no reason to think the cam would be anything other than awesome.
But thank you for your opinion.

I’ve had the sw05-07 in the past, wonderful cam, it is definitely on the table for consideration

Cleaned up or censored?

Feels like censored. I posted a comment saying I'd like know what was said. My perfectly clean request was 'cleaned up'. All a bit odd.
