Hi all,
I'm enquiringly as to where the radiator should be on minis. I always thought tha uk minis have them at the front and Japanese imports on the side due to air con etc.
I've seen a few that appear to be uk but have rads on the side. Did any uk models have then on the side if so why?

Hey. AFAIK all minis in standard form have side mounted rads. There might be a few tuners who have done something like that but yea...side is normal

Mpi radiators are front mounted as UK spec

All mini rads were side mounted from 59 up to the mpi in 96ish. I think jap minis use a mix of mpi and spi parts due to ac.

the only Minis that have front mounted rads are the MPIs. Jap spec cars are a Mix of MPi and SPi and have side mounted rads as per the earlier cars.
