So i am switching out my steel 12" rims for some meteors i found. I didnt even think about the lug nuts being different until i put the car up and got the old ones off.
Now my new rims have the steel insert bit and i think i need the tapered lug nuts. Looking online i see 2 kinds, one with a loose tapered base and one that is an entirely solid unit. My stock nut is just barely tapered and would grind on the steel insert lip of the new rims so they are no help in figuring this out.
Also, some of my lugs are different lengths so that may effect my nut choice.

get some Bluetac or plasticine and stick it in the hole and see what shape it comes out as. Bet you will still need the radius nuts.

This is the taper I have. My stock open lugs have a very shallow taper.

Does it matter if the new lugs have a floating taper or if its a solid one piece construction? I also need to check stud length so I may just buy a set of studs and nuts to make it easier.

Its labeled a meteor. I don't know much about it other than it fits. I can't find much info about them other than a mention or 2 here and there.

Well I went and bought 1 of every wheel nut variation I could find and I ended up using a long nut with a 60deg taper. I'm also pretty sure the nuts that came on the car were the wrong ones and just made to work.

Sorry to hi jack the thread.
What wheels are these?
I’m guessing they are the Rover Mini 12” wheels but just want to be certain, as there are a lot of wheels out there that look very similar
