looks like they used lego for the initial design modelling

not sure about the drainpipe exhaust out the side, and think it needs big fat balloon tyres, but i quite like it

I think you're right about the Lego inspiration but I strangely like it too.

I have a strange deja-vu feeling about this car, like I've seen it at a show when I was a kid, or it was on a TV show or something. Hmm.

Big sliding win-doors, you wouldn't look too elegant getting in or out - but I like it in a 'I like all sorts of odd stuff' kind of way.

It would make an interesting mini camper with a bit of imagination, and short legs :proud:

It's the unfortunate result of an illicit liaison between an Aston Martin Lagonda & a greenhouse!

These were a conversion offered by Williams Town. It's based on a Mini Moke.

They have been around since the very late 70's (79 ?). Originally, they offered a set of plans for the guy at home to build them from plywood and later offered these conversions in steel and fibreglass, though, I wasn't aware they did them in a 6 wheel version too.

They also offered a Pick-up version too.

They intended them to be in the same class as the Range Rover.

< Ha - beaten to it by its a minithing - I'd not seen that list before though - looks like they did a lot of models ? >

I also kinda like it, but with bigger wheels and a proper exhaust instead of the Jap Can.

Did the one you're thinking of have a pope in the back?

'n another thing... Having the rear most radius arms reversed could give you an extra set of drums that are useless going forwards BUT actually do something when you reverse - just a happy coincidence?

(I believe the rear axle didn't actually have any brakes as standard)
