Sadly, we have to sell our beloved Maisie.

She's a completely restored 1994 Cooper SPI in red. Now totally rust free and solid throughout. Sailed the MOT, comes with 5 months left and done less than 100 miles since (garaged all Winter). Running on new Yokahama 165 x 60 x 12’s on Supalight alloys. Comes with all receipts and documents, some old MOT’s etc

New bits include:

Both sides complete floor (not tunnel), inside and outside sills, refurbed doors, kick panel, door frames, hinges, lower dash rail and cross member.

New Rear subframe.

Boot rear floor, battery box, one inner wheel arch, (other repaired), rear valance, lower corner repair panels, boot floor sides, front and rear sub frame brackets.

Quarter panels, inner and outer wings, front panel, scuttle panel, valance and closing panels.

Engine is bored out +20 thou, with new (high compression) pistons, rings, top and bottom con-rod bearings, cam bearings, core plugs, seals and gaskets.

Head is skimmed, with new valves, guides collets and push rods, lapped in by the engine guys.

New oil pump, oil pressure spring, water pump, thermostat, upper and lower thermostat housings, fan belt, wiper motor loom, coil, dizzy cap, battery, leads and plugs.

New exhaust, 4 into 1 manifold, catalytic converter, rubbers and brackets.

Front and back Hi-low's, rubber cones, poly rubbers all round on suspension linkages subframe mounts, ball joints.

Wiring loom totally stripped and checked, end to end with some new plugs.

ECU unit checked over by specialist.

Rebuilt clutch slave cylinder.

New brake lines, rebuilt front callipers, bonnet release cable, crank sensor, vacuum pipes, fuel trap, front and back windscreen seals, door trim.

Refurbished rear swing arms, new brake cylinder, pads, adjuster screw, back plate, handbrake cable, wheel bearings.

The entire car is fitted with sound deadening felt, (boot, doors, cockpit), to reduce noise and new red fitted carpet.

Walnut dash, Cooper (half faux leather) seats, Bonnet stripes, John Cooper signatures on bonnet, chrome washer jets, locking petrol cap.

All in all, more than £6000 of receipts and £2000 of “cash in hand” work done on the engine and painting. Over 600 hours of work, cutting, stripping and welding.

I've also got a MEMS analyser run on her which confirms that all of the sensors are good.

Also listed in other places, so maybe removed upon sale.

I posted some project photos here..........https://www.dropbox....D1_PYunHHa?dl=0
