Hey Gang.

You may have read about this a few weeks back.

Anyway, delighted to be here.  I'll be picking your brains regularly over the coming months.

Welcome to the forum.  You're not far from me then.  How's it looking for the Ipswich to Felixstowe run in May?

I did wonder whether it might have come up in discussion on here!

50/50 at the moment.  I've just been told my work contract is coming to an end in the summer - so any ideas of just buying everything required and going at it hammer and tong have been consigned to the bin.  There isn't a lot wrong mechanically; it now runs very sweetly.  It just doesn't stop.  Wheel cylinders, TREs, brake flexis etc and probably a little tickle as it's had a sill at some stage but the welding is probably not to current standards.

Thanks for the kind words!

Welcome aboard!

I got back into Minis 12 months ago and have found this forum to be a fantastic resource, there's just not enough hours in a day to read all the build threads! Definitely read as much as you can though, it makes decision making over jobs much easier.

Amazing luck being reunited with your nans car - it's the personal stories that really count, especially with endearing little cars like the Mini
