So many overpriced mini's in the world

The £20k standard poobox I saw a few months back was the best.

Agreed, so many.  This is my favourite over priced piece of crap, it had been relisted over and over and they clearly have no clue.

steering wheel is what it came with doubt very much that it has been changed with its history.

it's not really expensive to have a manual gearbox put on a mini have those bits as well obviously not original to the car.

What 5k+offer to expensive LOL will leave it the garage for a few more years not a problem

Well you can’t just put a manual gearbox on an auto engine, it would need a whole new engine and gearbox. Thus obviously distroying it’s originality.

That is not he correct steering wheel for that model year, that steering wheel is from a late 70s, early 80s mini. It should have the 3 spoke version with the space for the little rectangle badge in the middle.

Who the hell cares? Low mileage, good condition, the steering wheel can be changed. Let the man sell his own car in peace.

Nothing to add except to say that there is nothing wrong with an auto, I had a MK1 auto with 37K miles on it and it was the nicest mini I ever had to drive should never have sold it but needed the deposit for a house :-(

Cars I have owned or driven like this with low mileage tend to drive really well and be much smoother than others as they haven't been taken to bits and put back together, components are smoother etc. as they have had less wear.

If I had the cash I would be making an offer.

You need to change the entire engine and box but you can get a kit which allows a manual engine to fit an auto front sub frame,

I've never done one like this but it would save some cost and a lot of work.

I can't see why everyone gets so hung up about autos, its like have a big go kart, literally!

It would be a real shame to modify this car.
